The short version

We collect your email address only if you choose to give it to us, we use it only to send you CoastLoot updates, and we never sell it. That's the whole philosophy — the rest is detail.

What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up for launch alerts. Stored with our form provider, Formspark.
• Anonymous usage statistics — we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful (pages viewed, device type, country). It uses first-party cookies; we don't use it to identify individuals, and IP data is not logged by Google Analytics 4.
• Basic hosting logs — our host (Cloudflare) records standard technical data like IP addresses for security and performance. We don't use it to identify you.

What we don't do

• No selling or sharing your email with third parties.
• No cross-site advertising trackers — analytics only, to improve the site.
• No spam — launch-day and major-update emails only.
• Some article links are affiliate links (marked as such) — clicking one never costs you anything or shares your personal data with us.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email includes an unsubscribe option, or just reply and ask — we'll delete your address entirely. You can also emailcontact@coastloot.comany time to request deletion.
